Damp conditions were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was forecast to be the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing thunderstorm potential anticipated across different parts of both regions.

Health Warning

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, specifically given the current weather patterns.
