Los Angeles witnessed citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters worldwide united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
